We decided to run our fundraising week in the last week of term (16th - 20th December) to coincide with the festive fun of Christmas. This timing adds an extra layer of excitement and joy to our RAG Week activities, as everyone is already in high spirits for the holiday season. The combination of themed dress-up days, engaging fundraising events, and the festive atmosphere makes it a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for all involved!

Themed Dress-Up Days

Each day of RAG Week features a different theme, encouraging students to get creative with their outfits. Themes can range from 'TV Film Characters' to 'Christmas', allowing everyone to showcase their unique style and have fun while participating (dress-up days are for Sixth Form students only)

Fundraising Activities

Throughout the week, students engage in a variety of fundraising activities aimed at supporting local charities and causes. These activities include student vs staff dodgeball, RAG Fayre, RAG Fest and more. The goal is to raise as much money as possible while fostering a sense of community and teamwork.

RAG Fayre

This is the main school event where everyone from Year 7 to 11 can come along and enjoy a variety of stalls, including basketball hoop shoot, face painting, baking and the legendary hot dog stall!  This is a wonderful opportunity for the entire school to come together, celebrate and support a good cause.

RAG Fest

The highlight of RAG Week is RAGFest, a festival-like event that brings together students from Years 10 to 13. RAGFest typically features live music, food stalls, and entertainment. It's a fantastic opportunity for everyone to unwind, enjoy themselves, and celebrate the success of the week's fundraising efforts.

Overall, RAG Week is a wonderful blend of fun, creativity, and philanthropy, showcasing the spirit and initiative of Sixth Form students. It's a week that everyone looks forward to, filled with memorable moments!
